Go Green Week
9th February 2009
From 9th - 13th February 2009, students at the University of Dundee will be raising awareness of environmental issues by hosting a ‘Go Green Week’
Go Green Week is a national event being co-ordinated by People & Planet groups around the country, including the one at the University.
The week at Dundee consists of a range of events to raise awareness amongst the student body whilst having some fun in the process.
‘We also want to make sure the University as an institution does all it can to improve environmental performance,’ said Richard Hawting, one of the students helping organise the week’s activities.
Among the events planned at the University are film nights, a second-hand bike sale and a clothes swap shop.
